CMA Youth Movement

 

The CMA Youth Movement exists to reach young people with the life-changing gospel of Christ. Through relationships at local CMA chapters, motocross tracks and events across the country, you can find God's purpose for your life and be strengthened in your ability to walk the life of a Christian.

The CMA Youth Movement Ministry Team is a DVD based discipleship course that teaches and encourages you to love God and love others just as Christ commanded us. Completing this Ministry Team course enables you to wear the CMA Youth Movement backpatch and represent Jesus and CMA as you minister to other teens.

 

Jerod and Jennifer McPherson serve as CMA National Youth Evangelists and lead the CMA Youth Movement. The McPhersons live on Iron Mountain with their four children, Ezekiel, Job, Abigail and Zoe. They have a passion for family, young people and children and have a vision to touch the hearts of this generation of young people through love. Jerod McPherson rides a Honda CBR 600 F2 and brings a creative edge to the Fast Lane Team.

    

 


Get Ready to FLAME ON!

As a student involved with CMA Youth Movement, some of the greatest times are when you can get together with other teenagers who share your passion for Christ and for CMA. That is one of the reasons why State Rallies and Seasons of Refreshing are so fun, getting to hang together with your friends from across your home state.

National Rallies during the summer time and CMA's Changing of the Colors Rally in the fall are awesome because you get to meet Youth Movement students just like you from all over the country. The services are extra special and the quiet moments with God are like nothing you have ever experienced. Students from around the country have expressed a desire to get together more in a similar setting to worship God, receive some valuable teaching, and hang with other students who love Christ. Now for the very first time CMA Youth Movement is going to offer a national opportunity outside of our regular rallies. This year, on New Year's Day weekend, all CMA Youth Movement Students and their friends ages 12-18 are invited to Iron Mountain for Flame On 2010.

Flame On 2010 is a three day high impact student conference especially for CMA Youth Movement students. It will be filled with uplifting praise and worship, vital ministry training, loads of crazy fun, and most importantly, plenty of moments for teens to connect with Christ. Students and CMA Youth Movement Leaders from around the country will camp indoors at CMA's Iron Mountain. This event is open to all students and church youth groups.

The event will be held Thursday, December 31 through Sunday morning, January 3, 2010. Sessions will be led by Jerod and Jennifer McPherson, CMA Youth Movement Evangelists and by State Youth Movement Reps from around the country. Students will love all the goofy activities and casual hang time that a retreat environment will provide. Get involved in praise and worship with musical guests MUZZLELOADER. This is a youth event that you don't want to miss. It is the perfect opportunity for a Chapter Youth Movement Leader to bring the students from their chapter to Iron Mountain for a special and unforgettable experience with God. This is a student event, but CMA members and parents are welcome.
